Tour Down Under & Creations

Yesterday the Tour Down Under started at Snapper Point on the Esplanade, Aldinga Beach, right near our house. It was a beautiful day. In the afternoon we drove about 6 kms to Willunga to see the final presentations for this stage of the race. Today the race finishes with stage 6 around the streets of Adelaide. Below are some of the photo's I took. My other half was very excited to see Casey Stoner in the crowd. Motorbikes are more his idea of two wheel racing LOL!

I made a couple of Tri-fold Cards on Friday night. I can teach you how to make these cards, Kaszazz have a great 2H Workshop designed by Kim Gauci. If you would like to book this workshop please contact me.

New Purchase & Scrap Therapy Sessions

I am very excited!! I have been out shopping today & purchased a new to me (secondhand) large solid timber eight seater dining table for all my future workshops at home. My past table was a great size, but was not solid enough for stamping etc. So out with the old & in with the new. Can't wait to start creating!!

I have added a page tab to the top of screen with the dates & info for my upcoming SCRAP THERAPY SESSIONS. I will be hosting these at my place on a Monthly basis, on the 3rd Friday of the month, 8pm til' late.

BYO craft, come & share some creative fun with friends, spaces limited so please RSVP.

Please check out the page tab above for more information.

I created this pen tin over a year ago, just wanted to show you all how easy it is to grab some Kaszazz SB Papers (this one is from our Castaway range) & decorate a tin.

Teacher Gift Idea

Tamsin showed me these great little backpacks before Christmas. I made a couple up for my children's teachers, filled them with choccies. They made great little end of year gifts for them. You can find the template at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/backpackbox/

They look great in our Kaszazz School Days papers too.

Hot, Hot, Hot!!!

The weather here in Adelaide has been so warm, we had a record attendance in our swimming pool yesterday, at one time there were 19 heads bobbing around the water. My youngest son is a keen fisherman & has been nagging me constantly to go out fishing on a boat, so on Saturday I booked my partner & I, plus keen fishing son onto a Fishing Charter for the day. We had a lovely time, here is a picture of one of Tyler's catches.

We caught a variety of fish, this was Tyler's catch of the day, a GURNARD apparently they can be eaten but the have many poison spikes on their body. He kept this one for show & tell :)

We'll back to craft, below are some of the creations I have created over the holidays.

A very simple but beautiful looking card using Perfect Pearls above.

This is my version of Workshop 2H528 World Traveller Scollop Clock, I just love this. This workshop is created by Genevieve Payne. If you are interested in getting a group of friends together, pay a one off fee each for the workshop, all product supplied, I can teach you how to make this clock. Please contact me for more details.

These are the Christmas Cards I created this Christmas for our family.

Here's to 2010, Cheers!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL X

Hope you all had a fantastic time over the Christmas break.

I spent a few days camping at Rapid Bay after Boxing Day & attended 2 weddings, which were lovely. I have taken many photo's, so I am looking forward to getting back into routine & back to craft.

I would like to say a personal thankyou to all who gave me handmade christmas cards this year, they WILL not be going in the recycling bin, but treasured for ever x

This year I have decided to take a break from the Blog Wars, I may join in again at a later date if others are still participating. In the mean time I will still be creating, running Workshops/Demo's & posting on my Blog, so please continue to pop back here for updates & hopefully be  inspired.

I am regularly placing Kaszazz product orders, so please browse the BRAND NEW KASZAZZ CATALOGUE to the right of screen. If you would like to order any product or a copy of the Catalogue for yourself or a friend they are $5.95, just drop me an e-mail.
