Balance in Life

You gotta have balance in your life & these words below are words I try to live by. It is one of my favourite sayings. I created this below for one of my fellow Kaszazz Consultants - Margaret Lante. Margaret & I joined Kaszazz one month apart back in 2007. Before becoming Consultants we both were customers for many years, loving the products. I called her my "table buddy" as we attended Kaszazz Workshops together, we became great friends.

 

 

I remembered this creation I had made yesterday when I visited the Adelaide Zoo for my Sister in-laws Birthday (Happy Birthday Michelle x) & came across this "Balance" in the zoo. Of course, had to take a picture of it!! & it will be going up in my Craft Room. A word I choose to live by.

 

This plaque was in the NEW Panda area at the Adelaide Zoo. They are so cute!! Below is one of my favourite photo's I took on Sunday. This is FUNI the female of the two. Just gorgeous, perfect picture to scrap with our Kaszazz Panda stamps.

Rub - on & Smooch Flower Cards

These cards I created with Kaszazz Rub-ons & Smooch Spritz. I used the 469973 Flourish & Brackets rub-ons. The white daisies from 4696 (100) Multi Daisy Flowers, I sprayed with red smooch spritz to create red daisies. I have also used vellum & a plastic sheet to create these cards.

Card for Netta

I created this card for my lovely neighbour Netta. Netta turned a young "96" this week. She is such a beautiful lady & she still drives!! I hope I'm as fit & healthy as she is, at 50. Happy Birthday Netta xx

I have used distress embossing powder on the lace stamp, giving  it a great texture & ice stickles on the butterflies wings.

Inspirational Getaway

Friday 30th April - Sunday 2nd May 2010 attended Pam Kuhn's Inspirational Getaway.

Pam issued us with 3 competitions for the weekend. We were all given a "Challenge Pack" upon arrival which included a number of Kaszazz Products. From these products we needed to create a card from a card sketch, a layout from a layout sketch & another creation of our choice. We could add any other current Kaszazz product to any of the Kaszazz products in our Challange Pack for our creations.

Above is my creation for the Layout Sketch which I received a 3rd prize. I also received 2 first prizes, which I was very excited about!! I am hoping to create these winning creations into Workshops. Stay tuned.

It was so lovely getting away, creating, no kids & meeting fellow consultants & new friends. Next Camp date: Creative Getaway No: 4, 12 - 14th Nov 2010, please e-mail me if you would like me to forward the details to you. All welcome.

Decorating with Kaszazz Rub-ons

Kaszazz Rub-ons come in many designs & they are great for decorating your craft projects & with a little imagination they can be used on many surfaces. Above I have decorated some planter tins which I picked up at a Discount Variety Shop & used the "Bountiful Borders" Rub-ons to decorate the bottom of the tins. These tins I use as craft rubbish bins, while I teach Workshops & Demo's.

Distressed ATC

I am off to Pam Kuhn's Inspirational Getaway this weekend in Keith. Leeann Koesters & I are travelling up there together. Can't wait to participate in some NEW Workshops designed by Cheryl Devlin, Debbie Dawson, Julie Nash & Pam herself. Will be great fun!!

We are also having a "Distressed" Theme ATC Swap over the weekend & up to 20 girls are participating YEY!! I am loving creating & swapping ATC's at the moment. Above is the ATC I have created using our NEW Large Tiger stamp, just beautiful!!! I always loved Tigers growing up & my bedroom was full of pictures, cushions etc, of Tigers. I have grown out of that phase in my life now, but I do love our new Tiger stamp.

Vellum Flowers

I created these cards above for Mothers Day after being inspired by Cheryl Devlin's upcoming new 2H Workshop - Rock Candy Vellum Distress Cards. She showed us how to create these beautiful Vellum Flowers at one of our past monthly Kaszazz Team Meetings. I just love them!! & thought they would be perfect for Mothers Day, which is just around the corner. Where is the year going????

We had a great time away camping over Easter & I just had to show you  a picture of my "Puppy Girl" Mia, who was very relaxed over the weekend.

Easters Coming

Thank you to all the girls who attended my Scrap Therapy Session at my place on Friday night. My week had been so busy & included lasik eye surgery on both eyes, which all went well!! it was just so nice to be with friends creating & taking some time out.

Time is just flying again for me at the moment & the kids will be on school holidays again shortly, there goes my routine for a couple of weeks. We are off camping again over Easter, hanging out for that!

I had a great time meeting other Kaszazz Consultants from around Australia when I attended Sonya Edwards Team Leader Training Weekend a few weeks ago in Newcastle NSW. I came home very inspired & looking forward to reaching some personal goals & business goals this year.

Kaszazz have a great 2 Hour Workshop 2H228 - A Slice of Cake designed by Lorraine Paton. You can check out our whole range of workshops available at the moment at the link to the right of screen.

I made up the Workshop below in an Easter Theme & filled each slice of cake with easter eggs & gave them as a gift to all my friends who attended my last Scrap Therapy Session. I used white cardstock & stamped the easter images with colorbox fluid chalk, the bunnies I coloured with chalks then gave them a 3D look with Glossy Accents.

February ATC - Romance

This is my monthly ATC, the theme is Romance. I created this by stamping  958LM Tulips & Music, in black & embossing with clear powder, onto one of Kaszazz's new Romance themed SB papers. This one is 1325 Word Montage / Club. I placed a dab of Molasses Smooch into the centre of each club pattern on the SB Paper, punched a heart from 4638 Silver Roses vellum & stamped "passion" from our ATC stamp set with warm violet fluid chalk.

Crackle Paint & Paint Dabbers

I created this card for our Monthly Team Meeting Competition Challenge. For the competition we needed to use Crackle Paint & Paint Dabbers. I punched out a large daisy & painted it with crackle paint & used this daisy as a base under 2 more daisies punched using vellum. I stamped a piece of clear plastic sheet with a white paint dabber. The chalk leaves I stamped in black & embossed with clear embossing powder.

I really liked this colour combination & created the 12 x 12 page below, with similar products & techniques.

Back again, finally!!! Computers... still having problems with loading photo's up to my Blog, don't know what is going on????  but I am FRUSTRATED!!!

Anyway it has taken me a while, but I have managed to get these (4) photo's up of cards I created using one of Kaszazz's NEW products Smooch Spritz, Double Sided Tape & Glitter.
