Blog War Day 2 - Christmas In July

Gee, the days are getting away from me this week, already Thursday!! Today I have put together a card today using Perfect Medium, Pearlescent Chalks, Gold Embossing, Star punch & Stamps on oatmeal card. The chalks give this card a nice shimmer that doesn't show up very well in the photo. Any questions please ask.

REMINDER: Check out my Workshop Page Tab above if you would like to attend any of my Workshops during Aug/Sept.

Also if you are in the area:

Come & visit me at my Kaszazz - Shopping Centre Display, this Saturday 1st August. Aldinga Beach Shopping Centre, Aldinga Beach Road, from 9am.

Blog War Day 1 - Christmas In July

Christmas in July (2)

This weeks Blog War Theme is "Christmas In July" It seems a little weird thinking about Christmas Cards already, but as a scrapbooker & card maker it pays to be organised early. I know alot of my friends & family look forward to receiving  my home made cards now!! the pressure is on to be organised.

Today's card I have created with strips of double sided sticker paper, I have trimmed to size. Sticker paper (also known as JAK paper) comes in A4 size with 5 sheets per pack, for $8.95. You can find them on page 61 of the Current Catalogue & Project Book. I removed one side of the tape & stuck it down on to Crimson Bazzill then removed the second side of the tape, placed red & green glitter on, one colour at a time. I stamped the Friends & Tree Christmas Stamps with Warm Green Fluid Chalk onto White Bazzill, trimmed to size edged with green & mounted onto the card. I then adhered the Crimson Bazzill to a white card & finished by punching a small star from white cardstock & placing on top of the christmas tree.

MUM'S A WINNER!!!

I had a great time on Saturday racing all my son's mates at the GO KART track for his 13th Birthday. Although I did come 2nd & 3rd in each of the 25 lap races. I DID however acheive the fastest lap time of the day, 23.81 seconds. I am a little bit of a rev head!! LOL. Never gonna let them live that one down. It was so much FUN!!!

"Red & Green" was this months ATC Theme, for our swap at Team Meeting this week. Above is the beautiful ATC's that each Consultant created & mine's on the left.

For our hands on activity at our Team Meeting, we all made the gorgeous white christmas card below, created by Cheryl Devlin. The other Green Christmas card I created, both cards using the NEW Christmas in July Stamps & Papers. Love them!!!

Christmas in July Stamps (2)

I received this (ATC) Artist Trading Card back in May from Julie Nankervis. Perfect for our Teddy Bears Picnic Blog War Theme. Julie has used the small,  medium circle punches & a metal hole punch to create this cute little bear.

My first baby turns 13 tomorrow. Happy Birthday Reece!! Just where does the time go? Wish me luck beating him at Go-Kart racing. GAME ON!!

I just love our new Scallop Paper Punches. I couldn't wait to create something with them, once I received 2 of them in my last order this week. You can find our whole range of paper punches on page 62 of the Current Kaszazz Catalogue & Project Book.

The "Becky Bear" card above was very easy to create. I stamped Becky Bear, you make me smile & only inked up the flower stems (from the Spring Time Stamp Set) in Ancient Page Coal Black onto white gloss card. I punched Jumbo & Small scallops to create the flowers. I used Marmalade Bazzill & Envy Bazzill Bling to create the flowers & added Ice stickles to the centre of the flowers. I matted the saying with Marmalade also. Adhered it all to a black card. Great Card for a Beginner!!

Blog War Day 3 - Teddy Bears Picnic

Creative Fun With Friends!!

Aug/Sept Workshops - Check Out Page Tab Above

Today I was stamping with the 1821LC Button Corner un-mounted stamp, when I noticed the image I stamped looked a little like a bears face with ears. Then the Blog War Challenge (Teddy Bears Picnic) popped into my head. I just had to create this little bear with the stamp. I embossed 3 stamped Button Corners with 10014 Cocoa Bean embossing powder, cut them out & created a little bear. I also punched out a small circle to draw his face with a perma-ball pen. Remember your stamps can be used in different ways, always try & look outside the square to acheive the most results from them.

This weeks "Blog War" theme is Teddy Bears Picnic. Kaszazz have 3 pages in the current Kaszazz Catalogue & Project Book full of cute teddy bear un-mounted rubber stamps. You can find them all between pages143 - 145. Becky Bear is my absolute favourite & I have used her in my 12 x 12 layout today.

This layout was so easy to do. It involved embossing 1387LJ Becky Bear, 4112KO Grass & the 1942LM Butterflies, onto a piece of 4502 Wisteria Bazzill. I used 10015 White & 10019 Verdigris embossing powders. I then adhered it to a piece of 9014 white card & used 4373 Pink/Purple from the Bright SB Range as my base. Other Kaszazz products I used 6481 Pink Ribbon, 4411 Inspiration Vellum, 4374 Sticky Bling - Flourish, 9883 Black Card & 436725 Elegant Inspirations Bling.

Blog War - Bella Papers

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been here for a few days. I just haven't had enough hours in my days at the moment. It's my youngest sons birthday today, he is 11 & it's my eldest son's next week, becoming a teenager the big 13!! It amazing how much your own routine gets blown out the window when it's school holidays also. I am welcoming next week when MY routine should be back to normal. Although I am loving the sleep in's, not having to get them off to school.

I am also learning FACEBOOK & you can now find me there!! I had been avoiding it, learning this blogging was enough. My son has been teaching me all things Facebook over the school holidays.

Today I made a 5 page "FRIENDSHIP SCHOOL MEMORIES BOOK". I was thinking of my son, it's his last year at Primary School & he is off to High School next year. I created this for the girls in his class.  A little book where they can add photo's & get everyone to sign it with messages on the last day of school. I have used the Bella SB Paper range which is the Blog War product of the week. All products used are Kaszazz.

Blog War Day 3 & 4 - Plastic Sheets

Plastic Sheets - Blog War

This card is the same idea as yesterdays card, just using different product. I used Aqua & Denim coloured paint dabbers, rhinestones. Stamps: 4077KM Script Background, 1137LI Seahorse Large, 672LH Shell Border & 2023LP Artist Trading Card Set. I also used white card, royal blue card & a piece of Multi Madness from the Mayhem SB Range.

Blog War - Plastic Sheets (2)

Above is my "HOW CAN I ?" sign I created for our Business Training Weekend away. I used the plastic sheet as a window. I stamped the plastic with a white paint dabber using a stamp from the Treasured Memories stamp set (7). I painted the chipboard letters with a denim paint dabber, while still wet I sprinkled them with some rainbow glitter.

My "HOW CAN I ?" sign sits on my printer at my desk to keep me inspired & motivated with my daily activities.

If you would like to create a "HOW CAN I ?" sign for yourself, please send me a picture via e-mail. I would love to display them on my BLOG.

Blog War Day 2 - Plastic Sheets

Blog War - Plastic Sheets (2)

I created this card by stamping the chalk leaves large with the lettuce paint dabber onto a piece of plastic sheet measuring 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (ATC size). Once dry, I then stamped the butterfly medium & edged the plastic with a black paint dabber. I added 2 yellow rhinestones & a rub-on. I then placed the stamped plastic over a piece of 4527 Blue/Green Circles from the Mayhem SB Papers. I adhered the plastic to the SB Paper by adding permanent tape behind the stamped images only, where it can't be seen through the plastic. I have stamped the chalk leaves large also on the corner of a card, with black ink & lettuce paint dabber. I created the card with 4227 Sunbeam Bazzill (colour looks nicer in real life) & adhered the ATC sized card to the front of the yellow with a permanent tape runner.

Blog War Day 4 - Black is Black

Blog War - Black is Black

I forgot to upload my last card for last weeks Blog War, so here it is!! As soon as I saw one of the new stamps in the "Christmas in July" new product release, all I saw was a peacocks tail. The new 4222KK Fancy Flourish Stamp is gorgeous!! I just had to create a peacock. I used a medium circle & medium folk heart to create the body with white card. I stamped the Fancy Flourish twice with perfect medium, re-inking each time, then embossed with silver. I then did it again once more & embossed with Verdigris embossing powder. I stamped the branch in white, drew around it & created bird legs with a white gel pen. I punched the corner of the card twice with one of our newer products the 4866 Flourish punch border. Finished with some blue rhinestones & a sentiment mounted on a piece of enchanted SB Paper.

Blog War Day 1 - Plastic Sheets

Blog War - Plastic Sheets

Kaszazz have A4 plastic sheets which can be purchased in packs of 10 for $6.50. This is the Blog War Product of the week. Today I have created 3 ATC (Artist Trading Card) size projects with the plastic sheets. I have left todays project unmounted.  The next two I will show you how mounting your ATC's onto card stock is a great & easy way to create a card. Very quick also if you ATC's are already to go! Don't forget to come back & visit to check them out.

Above I stamped the 314LC Daisy Large using Wild Plum & Rasberry Paint Dabbers. Coloured the petals in with ice stickles. Stuck on coloured rhinestones. A piece of white swirl ribbon & a rub on from the elegant inspirations bling sheet. Finished by edging plastic with a paint dabber.

Blog War Day 1, 2 & 3 - Black is Black

This weeks "Blog War Challenge" is using Black Card or Paper in our projects.

I have used one piece of Black 12 x 12 Scrapbooking Basics for the 3 cards below. With card (1) I used a couple of pieces of scraps. Cards are great for using up your scraps!! I used a piece of Ribbon/Script from the Ebony & Ivory Range & Script/Crackle from the Rustic Range. Punched the hearts. I folded 3 daisies in half & stapled them to the edge of the folded card. Stamped Happy Birthday onto white cardstock with Ancient Page Coal Black, cut it out & mounted it onto the card. Finished with a rub-on bling & a piece of black rick rack ribbon.

Black is Black 004

Black is Black 006

Black is Black 008

Card (2) above, I watermarked the "Cherish Yesterday" stamp over the front of the black card. It doesn't show up well on the photo. I used "Warm Red" Fluid Chalk to stamp the images onto white cardstock. The small buttons are from the 4117KM Stiched borders & the larger buttons are the 1821LC Button Corner stamp. I also used a white daisy & a strip of 4514 Crimson Bazzill.

Card (3) above is a basic little gift card. I used the crown from 436725 Elegant Inpirations Bling Rub-ons sheet. Kaszazz has a number of Alphabet Letter Stamps sets. I have used the Cute Letter Un-cut Stamp set (65), to create the words king & castle, the lower case letters fit perfectly to punch them out with the small circle punch. Check out our gorgeous NEW Carnival Alphabet stamps on page 114 of the current Kaszazz Catalogue & Project Book. I received mine today, can't wait to use them!!
